Two new organic projects at AU Foulum focus on sustainable slaughter pig production with 100% locally produced feed as well as meat quality and shelf life.
An EU project, including participants from Aarhus University, is going to develop a new decision tool that can help pig producers reduce the prevalence of tail bites on their farm.
Aarhus University leads a new GUDP project (KlimaKS) which will contribute with new tools to help the farmer in his efforts to prevent health problems in dairy cows. This will be beneficial to the cows’ welfare, the farmer’s economy and not least the climate.
