Friday 6 January, Yuan Yue will defend her PhD. Her research findings contribute to the understanding of how vitamin D and the new antimicrobial Pheromonicin-NM influence the development of bovine mastitis, and how they may be exploited for controlling bovine mastitis.
Tuesday 13 December, Ann-Sofie Riis Poulsen will defend her ph.d. Her new research findings contribute to the understanding of how different host- and non-host related factors influence the development of the piglet gut microbiota, and how such factors may be exploited for improving piglet gut health.
As per November 1, professor Hanne Damgaard Poulsen from the Department of Animal Science at Aarhus University has been appointed member of the Board of the Pig Production Tax Foundation.
