Putting grass protein to the test

A group of researchers is currently examining whether it will be possible to replace traditional protein sources with protein from clover grass in organic pig feed. They are rather optimistic.

New funding opportunity for dairy and beef research

Funding has just been announced for eleven new projects funded by the EU SmartCow project. The new projects cover a wide range of nutrition and feed topics – with important effects on product quality, greenhouse gas emissions and animal welfare. The next Call for Proposals will be launched in April 2019.
