The celebration involved speeches by Jakob Sehested, degree programme director of Agrobiology, and Rasmus Pedersen, education coordinator of Agrobiology.

Cake and speeches were not the only pleasant surprises at "Dyrkbar" – Rasmus Pedersen revealed a present for the students: a yearly study trip abroad. The departments of Animal Science, Agroecology and Food Science will kick start the study trip in the autumn of 2019. After the first trip, the students themselves will be the future organisers in cooperation with a lecturer. The study trip will involve visits to 1-2 universities cooperating with Aarhus University, company visits and farm excursions.

After the official programme, the guests continued the festivities into the night.
