Can glyphosate residues in the feed affect the health of farm animals?

Scientists at the Department of Animal Science, Aarhus University have received a 10-mio DDK grant from the VELUX FOUNDATIONS for a project examining whether residues of glyphosate in the feed will affect the health of farm animals.

Registration for ISAE 2017 is open

The international conference ISAE 2017 is being held in Aarhus, Denmark 7-10 August 2017. The conference is organized by the Department of Animal Science, Aarhus University. The theme is "Understanding animal behaviour" and registration is open until July 20, 2017. Deadline for abstract submission is February 5th, 2017.

PhD defence: The dynamics of rumen bacterial and archaeal communities in dairy cows

Zhigang Zhu studied how the rumen bacterial and archaeal communities shift over the transition and lactation period of dairy cows. The new research findings contribute to the understanding of dynamics of rumen microbial community and its role in animal health and production. The PhD defence takes place Thursday 1 December 2016.
